Beyond the Known - Indrahara Pass
This is a spectacular and challenging trek with remarkable views of snow-capped mountains of the Pir Panjal range, underlying Kangra valley and Mani Mahesh Kailash peak. Indrahara is a mountain pass in the Dhauladhar range of Himalayas (H.P). It's located at the altitude of 4,342 metres above mean sea level so a hiker requires quite good stamina and determination. However everyone who's firmly focused on its goal will easily reach the top.
Trekking Route: Chinar (1800m) - Triund (2835m) - Snow Line, Lahas Cave (3300m) - Indrahara (4400m) - Triund - back to Chinar.
Altitude: The trek starts at 1800 meters (5900ft) and climbs to 4300 meters (14000ft).
Duration: 4 days.
Best season: The best time for this trek is from May to October.
Grade: Upper moderate to strenuous. No technical experience is required. However, prior high altitude experience and long walking distance ability is required.
