This is one of the most popular trek that you can do in short period of time. The trek offers panoramic views of Bhagsu village, Mcleodganj, Dharamsala valley and distant views of Shivalik hills and plains of Kangra valley. Triund is a large land of green grass and pasture like. One can see the mighty Dhauladhar ranges just above the eyes. This is the base camp and climatization point for trekkers climbing the Inderahara point in the Mt. Dhauladhar. The day is in leisure to wander about in the Triund vast land. Night at Camp or forest guesthouse.
Trekking Route: Chinar (1800m) - Triund (2835m) (optional: Snow Line 3000m) - back to Chinar.
Altitude: The trek starts at 1800 meters (5900ft) and climbs to 3000 meters (9800ft).
Duration: 2 days.
Best season: The best time for this trek is from March to December.
Grade: Easy to moderate.
